Dumplings at home

A delicious hot dish for the whole family!

Minced meat ingredients:

  • Meat 500 g (pork)
  • Salo 100 g
  • Onion 1pc.
  • Black pepper 2 g (to taste)
  • Salt half tsp (taste)
  • Garlic 1-2 cloves (to taste)
  • Water 150 ml.

Dough Ingredients:

  • Flour – 3 cups
  • Boiled water – 1 glass
  • Salt – half a teaspoon (to taste)

Minced meat preparation:

  • Grind pork meat and lard in a meat grinder, it is better to grind slightly frozen meat.
  • Chop the onion and garlic very finely with a knife.
  • In the minced meat add onion, garlic, salt, pepper.
  • Mix well, cover with a lid and put in the fridge.

Preparation of dough and dumplings:

  • Flour must be sifted into a separate container.
  • Then you need to add a glass of boiled warm water and salt to the flour.
  • Mix everything well and put the dough in cling film for 30 minutes at room temperature. The dough is ready! Let’s start making dumplings!
  • Lubricate the surface with flour and roll out the dough, I do not roll it out very thinly.
  • For the form of dumplings, I use a small glass.
  • We make circles and fill them with minced meat that was in the refrigerator, the dough is very elastic, dumplings will mold well.
  • Then we take a container, pour about 2 liters of water, add bay leaf, bring to a boil and leave our dumplings to cook for about 5 minutes, stir beforehand until they float. Bon Appetit!
