Eggplant with bacon

Recipe for delicious eggplant with bacon on the fire, but you can also cook in the oven.

Ingredients:

  • eggplant 2 pcs.
  • bacon
  • ground cardamom
  • water
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic 5 cloves

Cooking:

  • Pour 1 liter of water into a container, add a tablespoon of salt, cut the eggplant into an accordion and put it in water for 20-25 minutes.
  • Cut the bacon, chop the garlic.
  • Pepper the bacon, salt, add cardamom, everything to taste.
  • Pour a little vegetable oil into a separate container, put garlic and bacon, leave to marinate for about 15 minutes.
  • We spread the bacon in an eggplant accordion, put it on a skewer and cook on the coals, gradually spreading the marinade in which the bacon was, cook for about 40-50 minutes, depending on the temperature, the finished dish can be decorated with herbs.
