Chicken on a jar

The recipe for very juicy and tasty chicken on a jar. Thanks to the contents in the jar, the chicken is completely soaked, both inside and out.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken
  • carrot 1 pc.
  • Bay leaf
  • black pepper (peas)
  • onion 1 pc.
  • garlic 3 cloves

Cooking:

  • Salt the chicken, if desired, you can grate with turmeric, leave for 15 minutes.
  • We take a jar of 0.5 l or 1 l, pour no more than half a jar of water, put garlic, onion halves, carrot rings, two bay leaves, pepper to taste.
  • We put the chicken on a jar and put it on a baking sheet in the oven, pour a little water into the baking sheet so that the jar does not crack, turn on the oven at about 180 degrees.
  • Close the top of the chicken with toothpicks to keep the contents of the jar from evaporating. If desired, you can cover the wings with foil so that they do not burn, having previously lubricated the wings with oil, do not press the foil strongly, otherwise it may stick.
  • Cooking takes approximately 2-3 hours.
