Herring appetizer

A delicious budget herring appetizer that is suitable for the New Year or any other holiday.

Ingredients:

  • Lightly salted herring – 1 pc.
  • Processed cheese – 2 pcs.
  • Boiled carrots – 1 pc.
  • Parsley – to taste
  • Black pepper – to taste
  • Olive oil – 20 g.

Cooking:

  • Boiled carrots need to be cut into a small cube.
  • Grate the processed cheese on a coarse grater, and add to the carrots, pour the olive oil there and mix the ground black pepper.
  • The herring must be deboned and divided into two fillets.
  • The fish fillet should be thin, so I remove the excess meat, cut into small cubes and add to the carrots.
  • Then we need cling film, put the fillet on the film, and fill it with our filling.
  • We connect two fillets into one, and twist tightly with cling film, put in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. The appetizer is ready, bon appetit.
